Booking our Services:
Please book appointments by contacting us using the booking system on our website, by emailing us at [email protected], by telephoning us on +352 671 88 44 68 or follow us on @theholisticornerlux on Instagram and slide into our DMs.
When we confirm your booking by email, you agree that you are bound by these Terms of Service.
We may require a deposit (being a token percentage of the cost of the service you are booking) to secure your appointment.
We ask that you arrive at The Space at least 5 minutes prior to your appointment time to avoid delays and out of respect for our therapists and other customers.
Gift Vouchers:
Offer loved ones, friends, or colleagues a fabulous and original gift from The Holistic Corner! You can purchase gift vouchers for any of our products and services by contacting us using the contact form on our website, or by emailing us at [email protected].
Gift vouchers can be used in exchange for certain services listed on our website. All gift vouchers are subject to verification at the time of use and cannot be exchanged for the equivalent cash value.
Gift vouchers are only valid up to the expiry date indicated on them, so make sure you book your appointment without delay to avoid disappointment!
Cancellations & Refunds:
You can cancel your appointment by giving us a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. This allows another customer the opportunity to benefit from the services we offer during your cancelled appointment time slot.
If you give us between 24 to 48 hours’ notice to cancel your appointment, you will be charged 50 Euros. This includes appointments paid for via gift vouchers.
In cases where you choose not to attend an appointment and do not inform us of this in advance, we will charge you the full amount for the booked appointment. This includes appointments paid for via gift vouchers.
Cancellation charges are discretionary and depend upon each customer’s circumstances. We will always do our utmost to accommodate our customers, but out of respect for our therapists and other customers we ask that you schedule appointments carefully so as to avoid cancellation charges.
We hope you understand that small, local and independent businesses such as ours need to include cancellation, non-cancellation and administrative fees. Our therapists and practitioners are compensated in this way as they would clearly not be able to attend other appointments if you cancel at short or no notice.
We reserve the right to cancel appointments within 24 hours’ notice. If we have taken a deposit from you, this will be refunded to you within a reasonable period of time (or credited to your account for your next appointment with us). In the rare event that we need to cancel your appointment, and we are unable to reschedule an appointment date that suits you, a full refund (if you have already paid for the service in full) will be submitted within a reasonable period of time.
Please note that we reserve the right to cancel treatment on the day of the appointment if a customer is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication, or if you arrive 15 minutes (or more) after your appointment was due to start. We are unable to provide treatment to customers in these circumstances, and you will be charged in full for the service booked.
Prices and Payment:
The prices for our services are listed on our website. We reserve the right to update our prices from time to time without prior notice, and we recommend that you check our pricing before proceeding with booking.
All prices shown on our website are exclusive of VAT.
Eligibility for our Products & Services:
The services we provide may be physically strenuous. By booking appointments with us for our services, you agree that you are voluntarily participating in/attending the appointment with full knowledge that there is an inherent risk of personal injury arising from your participation and the use of any specialist products. Certain services provided by The Holistic Corner may be unsuitable for you, if you have any special needs, or any medical health or fitness problem or condition.
It is therefore your responsibility to ensure that you are fit and well enough to participate in the services that you book, and you are at all times responsible for your own state of health, physical condition and wellbeing. If you have any concerns about your fitness or health, you should seek appropriate medical advice from your medical adviser before attending your appointment.
Advice provided by your therapist at The Holistic Corner at no time constitutes medical advice and is not a substitute for advice provided by a medical professional.
You agree that when you book and attend any appointment, that is deemed to be your confirmation that you have no health or fitness problems that may affect the provision of the service you have booked.
You must tell us at least 48 hours before you attend your appointment if you have any special physical needs, any issue relating to your health, fitness or physical limitations of which you are aware, and any medical condition or on-going medical treatment which might be relevant to the service you have booked, and you must also tell us if you are pregnant, and if so, whether you are in the first three months of your pregnancy. We may, depending on the circumstances, decide not to accept your booking because of such medical, health, fitness or special needs issue; if we do accept your booking, then you must act in accordance with any instructions we give you during the appointment that relate to such issue.
If you are under the age of 18, we may need your legal guardian to specifically sign a copy of these Terms of Service.
A Peaceful Time:
At The Holistic Corner, we prioritise and promote wellbeing and health. To be fair to our customers and therapists, we reserve the right to immediately terminate a treatment / service (or not proceed with the booked service to begin with!) if a customer:
You acknowledge and understand that the termination of an appointment due to inappropriate, violent or sexual behaviour towards our therapists or any other members of staff means you forfeit your rights to claim a refund if the booked service is terminated before or during the appointment.
You should be aware that rape, sexual harassment and sexual assault are criminal offences and we will immediately inform the local police in the event of you attempting or committing such offences. NONE OF THE SERVICES OFFERED BY THE HOLISTIC CORNER ARE SEXUAL IN NATURE. IF YOU INDICATE THAT YOU WISH TO ENGAGE IN SEXUAL BEHAVIOURS OF ANY KIND, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED IN FULL.
If we are unable to collect payment before the appointment (or at the time of terminating the appointment) an invoice will be sent to the customer and will be due for payment immediately.
When attending appointments with us, we endeavour to ensure that The Space is secure and safe. However, no responsibility can be accepted by The Holistic Corner for the safety of money or valuables of any kind brought to The Space. If you do bring valuable items it is essential they are covered by your own insurance. We will not be liable, under any circumstances whatsoever, for damage, injury or consequential loss, however caused, to our customers, their property and belongings unless it is solely due to our negligence.
Events beyond our reasonable control:
Sometimes things don’t go as planned. Where we can’t provide services booked or attend appointments for reasons such as flooding, electricity cuts, strikes, COVID-19, and other force majeure events, we will not be liable. We will keep you informed, where possible, and provide you with details of any new dates, times or availability for appointments. During such force majeure events, and where they result in cancellation of appointments, we will refund you any deposit you may have paid in advance.
Warranties / Health and Wellbeing:
Your health and wellbeing are our paramount concern. The fact that you have sought our services means that they are becoming yours too and that you wish to make changes or improve how you feel. We can provide help, guidance and coaching but ultimately you are the best person to be in control of your health. We recommend that you seek professional medical advice about any conditions or concerns you have and act appropriately on this advice. If you feel unwell for any reason whilst on our premises, please let us know without delay, so that we can help. We request that you read and take on board any instructions, information or notifications about our specific services.
You expressly agree that your use of our services is at your sole risk. The services and any products delivered to you by The Holistic Corner are provided “as is” without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including any warranties or conditions of fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability:
We provide or sell all our services and / or products to you only for your personal and private use / purposes. We are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, interruption to business or for any loss of business opportunity. Our therapists are appropriately qualified to provide the services they offer, but their advice does not include any medical advice and is not a substitute for advice provided by a medical professional.
If you bring any personal belongings onto our premises, we do not undertake to keep them safe or provide any storage place for them. Their loss or damage will be at your own risk except where such loss or damage is due to any (highly unlikely!) deliberate or negligent act by our therapists. Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to or will exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
